Use LiveSwap with OBS: browser output setup
Send your AI result to OBS using a private output window. No desktop client is required.
Send your AI result to OBS using a private output window. No desktop client is required.
1. Start in the browser
Open Online AI Face Swap in a current Chrome or Edge browser. Allow camera access and check your framing in the small preview. Select face swap, try-on or restyle, choose an available model and a permitted reference image, confirm the usage requirements and start.
2. Open the generated output
When the large result window is playing, click Open OBS output below it. If nothing opens, allow pop-ups for liveswap.ai and click again. The new window contains only the generated video; it does not publish a shareable stream.
3. Add Window Capture in OBS
In OBS Studio, choose a scene, then Sources → + → Window Capture and select the LiveSwap output window. On recent macOS versions, use macOS Screen Capture, select Window and choose that window. Crop browser borders if needed and fit the source to the canvas.
4. macOS permissions and black screens
Allow OBS under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording (the name varies by macOS version), then restart OBS if prompted. Keep the output window open and visible; do not minimize it. If the image is black, check that generation is active, reselect the correct window and try the available capture method in OBS. Avoid capturing the whole display if it contains private information.
5. Add your microphone separately
The AI output window contains video only. Add your microphone as an Audio Input Capture source in OBS. Check audio/video sync before streaming; device, network and model latency can vary.
6. Stream or use a virtual camera
For streaming, configure your platform in OBS and preview the scene before going live. For meetings, click Start Virtual Camera in OBS, then choose OBS Virtual Camera in the meeting app. Select your microphone separately there too. LiveSwap’s Windows and macOS apps are still in development; these steps use the Web version.
7. Keep the connection open and stop safely
Keep both the LiveSwap studio tab and its output window open. Do not paste /output into OBS Browser Source: that page depends on the opener in the same browser. Stopping generation or closing the studio clears its output. End the stream or disable the OBS source as well; third-party recording remains under your control.
Credits and privacy
New accounts receive 40 credits. X-Max 2.1 costs 1 credit/s. Lucy 2.6 costs 4 credits/s and requires at least 40 credits to start a 10-second allocation; try-on uses Lucy VTON 3.6 at the same rate. The browser preview is free. Generation reserves credits and returns unused credits after settlement; OBS does not pause billing. LiveSwap does not save camera video, but the chosen model provider processes the stream and OBS can record it if you choose. Keep AI disclosure and respect usage rules.
The welcome gift is limited to one account per IP address; other accounts registered from the same IP receive no gift.
